VFW Launches Mobile App for 2017 Legislative Conference

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With its 2017 Legislative Conference only weeks away, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. has designed a new mobile event app to give attendees the tools needed to make the most of their visit to the nation’s capital. As the official guide to the 2017 VFW Legislative Conference, the VFW DC 2017 mobile app is available for download now at both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

The new app ensures attendees will receive important notifications and reminders throughout the conference, have instant access to the daily agenda, the opportunity to connect with other attendees and more. The app also offers a complete legislative directory to make locating and communicating with legislative representatives easy. 

If you are attending the conference, help promote the VFW’s FIGHT FOR VETERANS by posting to social media all visits with your members of Congress. Simply snap a photo of your meeting and post it to Twitter and/or Facebook using #VFWDC2017. Remember to show your appreciation to your elected officials by tagging them in your post. Each representative or senator’s handle can be accessed in the app’s legislative directory.
