If you received a Purple Heart for being wounded in Vietnam, you could be one of 9* lucky vets to win VFW’s “Return to Vietnam” trip. This in-country tour from January 5-18, 2012, will visit Hanoi, Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Khe Sanh, Chu Lai, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, Marble Mountain, Cu Chi, Lai Khe and Phuoc Vinh.. Airfare, accommodations and meals are included. Don’t miss this chance to revisit battle sites and to share your experiences with fellow Vietnam vets.
Entries must be received prior to the drawing on October 14, 2011. Winners will be notified by mail or e-mail immediately after the drawing. To claim their trip, winners must send a copy of their Purple Heart documentation to VFW National Headquarters by November 15, 2011, and their passport by November 30, 2011. If you do not have a passport, please apply immediately upon notification that you are a trip winner and that your Purple Heart has been documented.
The trip includes traditional Vietnamese food, long bus rides, excessive walking, there are no handicap facilities anywhere on the trip and everyone must participate in every in-land trip and activitiy. Please consider these points of information before entering the drawing.
Note: Previous VFW-sponsored trip-winners to various events are not eligible.
