VFW Pays Tribute to Korean War Vets

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War armistice on July 27, VFW pays homage to veterans of “the forgotten victory.”

Now available in limited release, VFW magazine’s special 64-page booklet is a 60th-anniversary tribute on the war’s end and to GIs who made so many sacrifices in that faraway land. It brims with little-known battle accounts, fascinating facts and figures condensed nowhere else, a combat chronology like none other, casualties examined in great detail and a chart with all the specifics on Medal of Honor recipients.

This unique collector’s edition serves as a single reference for invaluable statistics on the war. A one-of-a-kind commemorative, it demands a place in the library of every military history buff and family that had a member serve in Korea.

It is available only on newsstands in some Barnes & Noble, Hastings and other smaller bookstore chains. In addition, it will be sold in some military base Post Exchanges. The cost is $7.99 and is on selected newsstands until Sept. 30.
