The VFW will host its second Facebook town hall meeting April 24 at 2 p.m. (CDT) to discuss the VA claims process and veterans’ benefits, as well as how VFW Service Officers can assist with filing claims – a service VFW offers to veterans free of charge.
Similar to the VFW’s recent Twitter chats, subject matter experts will answer questions for one hour, providing useful and accurate information and resources to all participants in the town hall.
VFW Service Officer Ron Cherry will answer questions during this town hall.
Any Facebook user can participate by visiting the VFW Facebook page at the time of the event. Users will simply present their question in the comments section of the VFW’s post announcing the town hall has begun. It is possible that not all questions will be answered in the given time frame, so participants are encouraged to vote for the most important questions by giving them a “Like.”
