KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. is saying ‘thank you’ to the men and women of the United States Navy as they celebrate their impressive 243-year history tomorrow, Oct. 13, 2018.
The U.S. Naval Forces have served in every war, proving time and again to be the world’s most formidable force on the high seas. For well over two centuries, sailors past and present have courageously and honorably served to defeat our enemies and protect our country and our allies.
Our homes, our lives and our country are safer because of our Navy, and today more than 1.6 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary join to say ‘thank you’ for your remarkable service to our nation.
