The 125th VFW National Convention will take place from July 27-Aug. 1 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville.
While the convention’s main purpose is to allow VFW delegates to vote on resolutions, attend workshops and hear from prominent speakers, it also offers a time for camaraderie. This is one of the reasons VFW is excited to host its 2nd Annual VFW National Convention Cornhole Series.
Presented by the veteran-owned KC Crew, the largest adult sports league in Kansas City, Mo., the series will take place on Sunday, July 28, and Monday, July 29. All proceeds from the competition go to VFW PACT Act benefit assistance. For more information and to sign up for this event, which was an instant hit last year in Phoenix, visit https://kccrew.com/leagues/vfwcornholetournament/.
Convention housing opened on March 18, giving attendees an extra month to register. Please note that shuttle service will not be available this year during the convention.
As a reminder, Sect. 222 of VFW’s Manual of Procedure states that each Post will pay, in advance, a national convention registration fee of $25. This entitles the Post to a convention packet, materials and one registered delegate for the VFW National Convention.
Each additional delegate will pay a $10 fee if the Post has paid the mandated $25 advance registration fee. All advance registrations should be mailed to:
